Beaneka's signature blend, Tunggal Ika is a combination of some origins that we offer, 80% arabica and 20% robusta, and humbly roasted for anyone who appreciates good coffee.

The blend was first specially crafted for the commemoration of the 70th Anniversary of US-Indonesia Diplomatic ties and it was first featured in the Indonesia Day event at Cowell Theater on September 15th as a request by the former Consulate General of San Francisco, D.I. Simon Soekarno. We named our first signature blend, Beaneka Tunggal Ika as a coffee that represents the Indonesian national motto, ‘Bhinneka Tunggal Ika’ which translates to unity in diversity, and it was also inspired by our journey from Sumatra, Java, and Bali.

We want people who enjoy our first signature blend to be able to perceive the combined taste of Indonesian beans into one blend that’s been thoroughly researched at its maximum potential. But our aim was not just to make a blend but also a craft that finds its perfect spot to allow it to be used for different types of brews.

Whether it’s espresso, tubruk, or even cold brew, we want to assure you would enjoy the different characteristics of Beaneka Tunggal Ika with each brewing method. It is blended to be brewed in any way you want it.
